Large-Scale Illegal Fishing Detected in Navoi Region

During the raid, conducted in the Kyzyltepa district of the Navoi region at Lake Tudakul, it was established that three individuals had illegally caught 39 fish of two species using prohibited fishing gear, namely monofilament nets.
As a result of this violation, damage amounting to 120,304,000 sums was inflicted on wildlife.
In a separate incident at Lake Tudakul, another case of illegal fishing was identified, involving the unlawful catch of 417 fish of five species. The resulting damage to wildlife amounted to 561,968,000 sums. Investigative actions are currently underway in connection with this case.
In total, monofilament nets with an overall length of 300 meters, as well as 456 fish of five species with a combined weight of 416 kilograms, were seized from the offenders and attached to the case as material evidence.
Control and enforcement activities are ongoing.
