An Offender Detained in Urtachirchik District for the Illegal Catch of 82 Fish

During an enforcement raid carried out by the State Environmental Control Inspectorate of the National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change, together with an operational team from the Department of Ecology of Tashkent Region and patrol police officers of the Tashkent Regional Department of Internal Affairs, a case of illegal fishing was identified in Urtachirchik District.
The inspection established that a citizen, identified by the initials M.V., had illegally caught 82 fish in the Tuyabuguz Reservoir using prohibited fishing gear — an “artificial hair” net.
The offence caused damage to wildlife resources amounting to 74,984,000 sums.
All collected case materials have been submitted to the relevant law enforcement authorities for legal assessment.
