It is particularly important to note that the updated edition of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan pays special attention to environmental protection. It contains provisions requiring the state to ensure the preservation of nature, the rational use of natural resources and environmental safety for current and future generations. The Constitution also obliges every citizen to treat nature with care and responsibility.
