On this occasion, "Jannat Makon" Park in Samarkand has opened its doors to artists from around the world. For one month, the park will transform into an open-air creative laboratory, where residents and guests of the city can observe sculptors from Japan, the United Kingdom, China, Iran, Türkiye, India, Georgia, Oman and Uzbekistan at work.
The project is held under the theme “Our Planet — Our Home” and is dedicated to ecology and nature conservation. It focuses on pressing environmental issues, the role of humanity in protecting the natural world and the creation of a sustainable future.
As part of the symposium, master classes by professional sculptors, presentations and roundtable discussions on ecology and art will be held for students of art institutions, along with excursions to the historical monuments of Samarkand and Bukhara.
