The event was attended by representatives of national executive bodies, ministries, and agencies. In particular, employees of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change and its subordinate organizations planted more than 2,000 ornamental trees — including elm, ash, catalpaand other species resistant to cold and drought — on the area assigned to the Ministry.
In total, ministries and organizations planted 48,000 ornamental tree seedlings along a 46-kilometer stretch of road as part of the campaign.
It is worth noting that, in accordance with the instruction of the President, the plan for the current autumn season provides for the planting of 125 million seedlings, while an additional 75 million are to be planted in the spring of 2026. To this end, forecast indicators have been approved for each region, sector, ministry and agency, specifying targets for planting ornamental and fruit trees and shrubs, as well as for establishing “green belts” around industrial enterprises.
To ensure the timely and high-quality implementation of the autumn tree-planting campaign, November 2025 has been declared the “Month of Action.”
