Meeting with a Delegation of EIT Raw Materials

The Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology hosted a meeting between First Deputy Minister F. Khamidova, representatives of “Uzbek Technological Metals Combine” JSC, and a delegation from EIT Raw Materials (Belgium).
During the meeting, the parties discussed the promising projects of “Uzbek Technological Metals Combine” JSC (UzTMC) and their implementation, in particular, opportunities to engage European Union companies in these projects and to explore potential sources of project financing.
The representatives of the foreign company also expressed their readiness to cooperate in establishing a sustainable value chain in Uzbekistan for minerals critical to industry, applying advanced technologies and introducing the principles of a circular economy.
