Hydrogeological works

In accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 1, 2018 No. PP-3578 "On measures to radically improve the activities of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Geology and Mineral Resources", as well as in accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 4, 2017 No. PP -2954 "On measures to streamline control and accounting for the rational use of groundwater reserves for 2017 - 2021" The State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Geology and Mineral Resources implements the following tasks.

- implementation of long-term, medium-term and annual exploration programs based on in-depth scientific analysis of geological and other information about the subsoil using advanced forecasting methods, search results and assessment of groundwater deposits;

- formation of information about the subsoil and their reliability in order to increase the increase in reserves of fresh, slightly saline and mineral groundwater, their rational use, timely prevention of the development of exogenous geological processes and the development of environmental recommendations;

- performance of hydrogeological, engineering-geological and geoecological works aimed at improving the quality and reliability of the results obtained through the use of advanced production methods, modern techniques and technologies;

- analysis and control of the reliability of the information provided on the resources and reserves of groundwater and the development of recommendations for the rational use of groundwater;

- carrying out work on monitoring groundwater, systematic processing of information and ensuring interdepartmental cooperation in the field of water resources management in order to expand the market for consumers of hydrogeological information and prompt submission of the necessary materials to the relevant ministries and departments;

- submission for approval to the State Reserves Committee of reports with the calculation of the operational reserves of groundwater.
