Uzbek-Chinese Dialogue: Focus on Green Technologies and Investment

On 28 July, a meeting was held with representatives of Chinese companies under the Association of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan, chaired by First Deputy Minister of Mining Industry and Geology, O. Nasritdinkhodjaev.
The discussion centred around the outcomes of the recent Green Minerals Cooperation Forum held in Tashkent. The Chinese side expressed gratitude for the organisation of the event and emphasised its importance for strengthening bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, Chinese partners proposed establishing a $500 million investment fund, launching joint research initiatives, forming expert groups, harmonising environmental standards, and advancing workforce training and green financing. The Uzbek side expressed interest in the proposed initiatives.
