Underground Drilling Operations Launched under Agreement between Uzbek Geological Exploration JSC and NMMC JSC

Underground drilling operations have commenced based on the agreement concluded between Uzbek Geological Exploration JSC and Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company (NMMC) JSC.
These drilling works are being carried out as part of the project titled “Preliminary Assessment of Ore Bodies Between Exploration Lines in the Western Flank of the Charmitan Deposit of the Zarmitan Ore Area” by the Zarmitan Field Expedition.
To conduct drilling from the adit located within the mine operated by the Southern Mining Administration of NMMC JSC, the 113th drilling brigade (using ESD-9 equipment) of the Zarmitan Field Expedition, under the Samarkand Central Geological Exploration Expedition, has been mobilised.
The drilling operations are being conducted from underground chambers to evaluate C2 category reserves and study the industrial significance of deeper horizons.
