The Government Decree ‘On approval of the General Technical Regulations on the safety of mine hoisting devices’ was adopted

In order to ensure the implementation of the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 28 February 2024 № PP-91 ‘On measures to organise the activities of the Agency for Technical Regulation of the Republic of Uzbekistan’, as well as improving the requirements for the safety of mine hoisting devices, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution № 269 ‘On approval of the General Technical Regulations on the safety of mine hoisting installations’.
The document approves the Technical Regulations on the safety of mine hoisting equipment, providing requirements for their safety, packaging, labelling, identification and conformity assessment procedure, as well as the scheme of implementation of this regulation.
The requirements set out in the Technical Regulation are important for production processes, as well as for ensuring the safety of the environment and people.
The Technical Regulation comes into force six months from the date of its official publication.
