In joint stock company ‘Uzbekugol’ in 2024 the volume of extracted coal for the first time exceeded 6.7 million tonnes.
Angren Coal Field, Apartak Coal Field and Underground Coal Mining Mine have significant contribution to the achievements.
The volume of coal produced at the Angren coal deposit exceeded 5.5 million tonnes. The workforce of Apartak coal deposit branch for the first time in history has overcome the milestone of 1.2 million tonnes.
In JSC ‘Uzbekugol’ in 2019 produced 3807.6 thousand tonnes of coal, in 2020-3869.4, in 2021 - 4781.2, in 2022-5073.9, in 2023 - 5836.0 thousand tonnes.
