Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The meeting, chaired by Minister of Mining Industry and Geology B. Islamov, was attended by I. Jumayev, a representative of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of departments and divisions of the Ministry’s central office, as well as heads of subordinate enterprises.

Deputy Minister U. Yusupov presented a report on the work carried out in the mining and geological sectors, as well as the results of the Ministry’s economic and financial activities for the first nine months of 2026. The participants discussed the achievements of the reporting period, future plans, existing challenges, and proposals for addressing them.

The meeting also included reports from the heads of the Center for Technological Transformation, NMMC JSC, AMMC JSC, Navoiuran State Enterprise, Uzmetkombinat JSC, UzTMC JSC, the Center for Subsoil Use, the Inspectorate for Mining Industry and Geology Supervision, Uzbekhydrogeology State Institution, and the University of Geological Sciences.

Following the meeting, measures were identified to address the sector’s priority tasks, strengthen executive discipline, and ensure enhanced oversight of digitalization processes.
