The meeting was attended by members of the Senate, the Head of the President’s People’s Reception Office, representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Prosecutor General’s Office, ministries and agencies, heads of regional hokimiyats and local Kengashes, including Deputy Minister of Mining Industry and Geology Ural Yusupov, and other officials.
During the meeting, senators emphasised that every appeal represents an individual’s concerns and the well-being of their family. It was noted that when the same issue is repeatedly raised in numerous appeals, the activities of the relevant government body, sector or local authority must be thoroughly examined to identify the root causes of the problem.
The discussions highlighted the need to address shortcomings such as the failure to fully resolve appeals at the initial stage, formalistic approaches and non-compliance with established deadlines. Accordingly, ministries and agencies receiving the highest number of appeals were tasked with conducting an in-depth analysis of the underlying causes and developing specific measures to eliminate systemic problems leading to repeated appeals.
Particular attention was paid to the need to consider holding officials accountable for failing to meet deadlines for reviewing appeals, regularly assess compliance with administrative procedures, establish effective feedback mechanisms with applicants and introduce systems for evaluating their level of satisfaction.
Following the discussions, the Senate of the Oliy Majlis adopted a corresponding resolution.
