Meeting Held with the EU Ambassador to Uzbekistan and Representatives of WMC Group

On 28 September, Deputy Minister of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ural Yusupov and senior officials of the Ministry held a meeting with the Ambassador of the European Union to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr Toivo Klaar, and representatives of the management of WMC Group.
The meeting included an exchange of views on priority areas of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the European Union in the mining and geological sectors, as well as on initiatives of the Netherlands aimed at developing trade and economic cooperation in the field of mining and mineral resources in Uzbekistan.
Representatives of WMC Group delivered a presentation on the company’s activities in Uzbekistan, its ongoing work and projects being implemented in the country.
The parties also discussed prospects for further cooperation, opportunities for implementing new projects and other matters of mutual interest.
