During the meeting, the guests were briefed on the reforms implemented in Uzbekistan's mining industry and geology sector in recent years, the revised Law "On Subsoil", the investment environment and conditions created for investors, the allocation of prospective areas to entrepreneurs through the E-Auksion platform based on transparent mechanisms, the activities of UzTMC, as well as projects in hydrogeology, digitalisation of the sector and metallurgy.
The Israeli side also expressed interest in cooperation in the fields of groundwater and critical metals. It was noted that Israel has experience in hydrogeology, and the Israeli side was invited to consider presenting relevant proposals and technological solutions for the exploration and use of groundwater.
In addition, the Israeli side noted its participation in the GEOMIN 2026 conference and highly appreciated the scale and practical significance of the event.
