Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The event was opened with welcoming remarks by Minister of Mining Industry and Geology B. Islamov. He highlighted the achievements of dedicated professionals making a significant contribution to the development of the industry and emphasised that the key priorities include improving production efficiency, introducing advanced technologies, training highly qualified personnel and showcasing the country’s economic potential.

It was emphasised that these high honours recognise not only the individual achievements of the award recipients, but also the work of the teams in which they serve, and reflect the positive outcomes of reforms in the mining and geology sectors.

In addition, during the event, a group of employees of the Ministry’s central office and heads of subordinate enterprises were presented with commemorative badges marking the “35th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.”
