Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The event was attended by N. Umarov, a member of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology and its subordinate organisations, Rector of the University of Geological Sciences A. Kadirkhodjaev, as well as members of Narimon Khodjibaev’s family, associates, students and colleagues.

The event highlighted the scientist’s significant contribution to the development of hydrogeological science, his many years of scientific work, fundamental research and achievements in the field.

Speakers shared their memories of Narimon Khodjibaev’s rich scientific legacy, outstanding personal qualities and distinguished work as a mentor. His students and colleagues recalled memorable episodes from his life, his scientific research and the years they spent working alongside him.
