Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The seminar was held under the leadership of First Deputy Minister of Mining Industry and Geology F. Khamidova and aimed to provide methodological support to advisers to regional and district hokims. O. Fayzullaev, Head of the Centre for Technological Transformation, together with representatives of the Ministry and JSC Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex (AMMC), presented the results achieved in the implementation of digital solutions and artificial intelligence technologies.

The event also featured a question-and-answer session, during which participants discussed issues of interest and explored opportunities for implementing the presented systems across the regions. At the conclusion of the seminar, participants visited the Third Copper Concentrator and familiarised themselves with ongoing operations at the Kalmakyr open-pit mine.

Following the visit, it was proposed to continue the practice of providing regular methodological and practical support to regional and district administrations through the Centre for Technological Transformation.
