Researchers from the Ore Formation Processes Laboratory of the H.M. Abdullayev Institute of Geology and Geophysics are carrying out the next stage of field geological investigations at the Chairli and Karasan ore prospects in the Surkhandarya Region. The research is aimed at gaining a deeper understanding of the area's geological characteristics and expanding the scientific database.
During the fieldwork, rock samples are being collected for comprehensive mineralogical and petrographic studies, including analyses of their composition, structure, and formation conditions. The collected samples will undergo detailed laboratory examinations.
The results of the research will provide an important scientific basis for a more accurate assessment of the geological structure of the area, a better understanding of ore-forming processes, and the identification of prospective mineralization zones.
