From 6 to 12 July this year, in accordance with the agreement between the Accounts Chamber of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the General Prosecutor's Office, and the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology, a field assessment was conducted of the hydrogeological works carried out by the State Enterprise Uzbekhydrogeology.
The assessment covered five projects implemented in the Andijan, Tashkent, Samarkand, and Navoi regions, including the review of more than 20 boreholes and other hydrogeological investigations.
The compliance of the completed works with geological assignments, as well as the quality and completeness of field documentation, was also evaluated.
Based on the findings of the assessment, recommendations were provided to address the identified shortcomings.
