Measurement Instruments for Groundwater Monitoring and Modelling Officially Accepted

A meeting was held with representatives of Caritas Switzerland within the framework of the project “Climate-Resilient Integrated Water Resources Management in the Zarafshan River Basin in Uzbekistan”, funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
During the meeting, officials of the State Institution Uzbekhydrogeology officially accepted the equipment procured under the Zarafshan River Basin Project for the automation of groundwater monitoring and modelling.
In addition, within the framework of the project, a Roadmap outlining the activities to be implemented jointly by the Ministry and Caritas Switzerland in 2026–2027 was approved. The parties also exchanged views on further strengthening cooperation and introducing new projects in the field of groundwater management.
