The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan J. Khodjaev, Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade I. Kasimov, as well as First Deputy Minister of Mining Industry and Geology F. Xamidova.
More than 120 representatives of leading Hong Kong companies operating in the fields of industry, finance, logistics, information technology, and construction took part in the meeting. During the event, foreign guests were introduced to the economic reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan, the country’s investment potential, the conditions created for doing business, and the mechanisms available to support investors.
The roundtable discussion focused on expanding trade and economic cooperation, strengthening financial ties, and implementing promising joint projects.
Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their readiness to further increase mutual investments and develop long-term, mutually beneficial partnership.
