The event was attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology, Tashkent region khakimiyat, responsible persons of the district khakimiyat, as well as the director of "Limaomaoli Metal Company" LLC.

The launch of the Surenata complex will allow producing 2.4 million tonnes of ore per year. The capacity of the complex is 1 million tonnes of iron ore concentrate per year.  

It is expected that $50 million will be invested in the iron ore project, which will eventually create 400-500 new jobs.
