Advanced Experience of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology in Anti-Corruption Efforts Recognized at the 6th Tashkent Anti-Corruption Forum

Held under the slogan “A New Architecture of Anti-Corruption Governance: Towards Effective Preventive Measures”, the forum recognized the advanced experience of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology in the field of anti-corruption efforts. The ministry was awarded a special prize as an organization that has effectively implemented the Compliance Control system.
This year’s forum program includes a high-level plenary session, as well as three thematic discussions dedicated to institutional openness and accountability, mechanisms for preventing corruption at regional and local levels, anti-corruption education, and strengthening public participation.
The Anti-Corruption Forum is organized by the Anti-Corruption Agency and the National Anti-Corruption Council with the support of major international partners, including the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), the European Union (EU), and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The forum brings together heads and specialists of anti-corruption agencies from more than 10 countries, including Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, China, Saudi Arabia, Moldova, Estonia, Lithuania, Azerbaijan, and Tajikistan. It is also attended by leading experts from the European Union, the OECD, ADB, the OSCE, and UN structures, as well as representatives of government bodies and civil society institutions, including heads of anti-corruption divisions of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology and its subordinate enterprises.
