Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The event was attended by heads of departments and divisions of the executive аппарата of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology, as well as representatives of more than 20 subordinate enterprises.

Deputy Minister of Mining Industry and Geology U. Yusupov informed participants about the work being carried out within the system to combat corruption.

At the seminar, a report titled “Mechanisms for Combating Corruption in Uzbekistan and Their Legal Framework” was delivered by I. Achilov, Prosecutor of the Department for Coordination of Anti-Corruption Measures of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Candidate of Legal Sciences (PhD). The speaker provided detailed explanations of the legislative framework, the concept of corruption, methods for its timely detection and elimination, as well as issues of liability in this area.

At the conclusion of the seminar, responsible officials answered participants’ questions.
