A seminar on the efficient use of budget funds and public procurement procedures was held at the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology

At the event, Chief Inspector of the Accounts Chamber G. Muhammadiev, assigned to the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology, delivered a presentation on “A new approach to controlling the efficient use of the state budget and extra-budgetary funds.”
Participants were provided with information on the ongoing efforts to introduce a transparent and efficient system aimed at reducing corruption risks in public procurement processes.
During the seminar, explanations were also given on the risks identified in sector organisations based on the analysis of the “Remote Audit” information system, including issues related to payroll calculation and payment, banking data analysis, tax reporting, compliance control, allocation of budget funds and public procurement.
