Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The event was attended by industry veterans, geologists and scientists awarded state honours, as well as representatives of the public.

The event commenced with the performance of the State Anthem. This was followed by the reading of a congratulatory message from the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, in which particular emphasis was placed on the contribution of geologists to the study of the country’s subsoil resources and their dedicated work.

During the event, the Minister of Mining Industry and Geology, B. Islamov, congratulated the participants on their professional holiday and presented state awards to a group of geologists and scientists. Among them were recipients of the honorary title “Honoured Geologist of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, the “Dustlik” Order and the “Shukhrat” Medal.

In his speech, the Minister highlighted the significant attention paid to the sector by the Head of State, the ongoing reforms, the importance of the new edition of the Law “On Subsoil”, as well as large-scale projects being implemented in the industry.

Veterans and recipients of state awards also delivered congratulatory remarks, shared their experience, and put forward proposals and initiatives for the further development of the sector.
