Signed a partnership agreement with the Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy in the field of critical minerals

A total of 17 documents were signed during the state visit, including a bilateral cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea on mining, processing of critical minerals and production of high value-added products, an agreement with KIGAM on implementation of Big Data grant project on digitalisation and monitoring of landslides, as well as an agreement between the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology, the Institute of Mineral Resources and KIGAM on geological exploration of prospective deposits, including searching for rare minerals and conducting technological research.
These documents will serve to accelerate joint projects with Korean technology and advanced companies aiming for a green future.
