Prospects for the Development of the Ferrous Metallurgy Sector Discussed

The General Meeting was opened by First Deputy Minister of Mining Industry and Geology F. Khamidova. In her address, she emphasised the importance of the Association as a key industry platform that contributes to the development of the metallurgical sector, strengthens dialogue between business and government institutions, and promotes the introduction of modern approaches to industry development.
During the event, speeches were also delivered by the Chairperson of the Metallurgy Association of Uzbekistan, G. Tajimirzayeva, as well as representatives of international partners from China, Iran, and other countries.
Within the framework of the General Meeting, participants discussed trends in the development of the global ferrous metallurgy market, as well as forecasts for the development of the sector as a whole and, in particular, in the countries of Central Asia.
