Representatives of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology participated in the conference “International Water Cooperation and Improvement of Water Legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan”

On 17 November of the current year, a conference dedicated to international cooperation in the field of water resources and the improvement of the water legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held. The event was organised by the Ministry of Water Management in cooperation with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the World Bank (WB), the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), and other donors.
The conference was attended by representatives of government bodies, international organisations, diplomatic missions, research centres and the expert community, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology.
During the event, participants discussed key reforms and innovations in water resources management, the strengthening of cooperation between government bodies and international partners, the promotion of innovative solutions, and the creation of a platform for the effective management of water resources in Uzbekistan.
