A meeting was held at the University of Geological Sciences, where presentations were delivered on the topics of “The system of mineral resource audit”, “Harmonisation of national and international standards in the assessment of mineral reserves”, and “Development of the expert community in the field of subsoil use within the CIS”.
In line with the Model Requirements set out by the protocol of the XXVI session of the Intergovernmental Council for Exploration, Use and Protection of Subsoil, the meeting concluded with a decision to continue efforts to foster cooperation in harmonising approaches to the classification of mineral reserves and to further develop the expert community, taking into account the mutual interest of the parties involved.
