On 22 August 2024 at the University of Geological Sciences was held an international scientific-practical conference ‘Geology and mineralogy of mineral deposits, innovative directions of mining, beneficiation and technology of extraction of valuable components’ organised by the State Institution ‘Institute of Mineral Resources’.
At the conference in 4 sections presentations on such topics as ‘Geology of mineral deposits and methods of forecasting prospective areas’, ‘Mineralogy, geochemistry, genesis, structural, tectonic structure and other predictive criteria of deposits’, ‘Innovative technologies of ore processing and extraction of minerals’ and ‘New technologies in mining’ were presented.
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology, its subordinate enterprises and organisations, domestic and foreign specialists, and international experts.
