Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The event was attended by Deputy Minister U. Yusupov, responsible officials from the National Committee for Ecology and Climate Change, the Agency for Technical Regulation, and the Committee for Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety, as well as a number of entrepreneurs and representatives of enterprises.

O. Mamatkulov, Head of the Ferrous Metallurgy Development Department, informed participants about the introduction of licensing procedures for activities related to the collection (procurement), processing and sale of ferrous and non-ferrous metal scrap and waste, as well as future plans in this area.

During the open dialogue, the leadership of the Ministry and other agencies also answered questions from entrepreneurs, media representatives and the Uzbekistan Metallurgists Association, providing the necessary explanations and comments on the topic.
