About the International Forum “Geoscience & Exploration Central Asia: Geology, Resources and the Future of Eurasia”

On 2–3 April, the international forum Geoscience & Exploration Central Asia: Geology, Resources and the Future of Eurasia was held in the city of Astana, bringing together representatives of government bodies, industry companies, and the expert community from across the region.
A delegation from the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan, headed by Deputy Minister R. Yusupov, took part in the forum.
On the first day, members of the delegation actively participated in thematic sessions focused on key issues of sector development, including: “Mineral Resources of Central Asia: Strategy and New Horizons”, “Legislation in Subsoil Use: Current Issues”, as well as a number of other panel discussions aimed at exchanging experience and developing joint approaches to the sustainable development of the region’s mineral resource base.
