Major investment projects studied in Bukhara region

On 6 April 2026, Deputy Minister of Mining Industry and Geology U. Yusupov, Deputy Minister of Energy U. Mamadaminov, together with responsible officials, conducted a field review of the progress of major investment projects being implemented in the mining and energy sectors of the Bukhara region.
In particular, the current status of the “Development of the Toshqazgan graphite deposit” project, being implemented by Uzbek Technological Metals Complex JSC, as well as the implemented 500 MW wind power plant project carried out by Saudi Arabia’s ACWA Power, was reviewed.
