On 24 March 2026, the Minister of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan, B. Islamov, held a meeting with representatives of the Tajik delegation led by the Minister of Industry and New Technologies, Sh. Kabir.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in the mining, metallurgical and industrial sectors. Particular attention was given to strengthening cooperation between specialised enterprises, including JSC AMMC and JSC Uzmetkombinat.
The parties also considered prospects for cooperation in training and advanced professional development, as well as establishing collaboration with specialised educational institutions.
