On 18 March 2026, an online meeting was held between senior officials and responsible staff of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology, the University of Geological Sciences, and the State Institution “Institute of Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology”, and representatives of the Geological Survey of Finland.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the DATA4CRM project for 2026–2029, funded by the European Union (EU).
The project envisages joint work in areas such as the digitalisation of geodata, geophysical research, groundwater modelling, the commercialisation of scientific developments, and capacity building.
