Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan

During the visit, a meeting was held with the District Hokim, U. Adizov, at which planned investment projects were discussed. Together with responsible officials of the Ministry and the District Hokim, the activities of a number of industrial facilities located in the district were reviewed.

In particular, the project of a raw material processing enterprise at the granite deposit covering 9.6 hectares in the Kuksaroy mahalla was considered, as well as a project for the construction of a plant for the production of high value-added finished granite products worth USD 35 million with the participation of foreign capital, which is planned to be implemented on unused land in the Bakhshijar mahalla.

During meetings with local entrepreneurs, existing challenges and proposals were heard, and measures to provide practical support were discussed.

In addition, projects implemented by local and foreign enterprises in the area of Langar settlement for the extraction and processing of tungsten ores, rare and rare-earth metals were reviewed.

The working visit also included consideration of issues arising in the course of deposit development, and relevant recommendations were provided to address them.
