A Committee Hearing Held at the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology

The hearing was attended by Deputy Minister of Mining Industry and Geology R. Yusupov, Deputy Chair of the Committee of the Legislative Chamber on Entrepreneurship, Competition Development and Industry F. Zayniev, members of the Legislative Chamber, and heads of the Ministry’s relevant structural divisions.
During the meeting, Deputy Minister R. Yusupov presented a report on the results of geological exploration activities carried out in 2025, as well as the priority tasks planned for 2026.
In addition, responsible officials provided detailed explanations in response to deputies’ questions and emphasised the relevance of the issues under discussion.
The deputies also visited the State Institution “Uzbekhydrogeology” and familiarised themselves with the activities of the Situational Centre for Groundwater Monitoring. Specialists of the Centre demonstrated in practice that measurements within groundwater basins across the Republic are conducted in digital format and in real time.
