Representatives of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology Take Part in a Seminar on Ensuring Gender Equality in Governance

A training seminar entitled “Mechanisms for Ensuring Gender Equality in Governance: Principles of Gender Auditing” was held jointly with the Asian Development Bank and the Committee on Family and Women of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At the event, which was also attended by representatives of the Ministry, practical sessions and discussions focused on issues such as internal procedures within public organisations, human resources policies, workflows, and mechanisms for developing recommendations to strengthen a gender-sensitive approach in document management.
Participants also consolidated their knowledge of the main tools and practical approaches required to conduct a gender audit.
