Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The event was attended by the Minister’s Adviser B. Normatov, as well as responsible officials of the Ministry’s central office and subordinate organisations, including the University of Geological Sciences, Uzbek Geological Exploration JSC, Uzbek Overseas Geology Company LLC, the State Institution “Subsoil Use Centre”, and other relevant sector-specific organisations.

Within the framework of the forum, participants discussed issues related to the sustainable and responsible development of the mineral resources sector, ensuring global mineral supply chains, and expanding international cooperation in the fields of geology and mining.

During the event, a meeting was held with the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), and an agreement on joint cooperation was signed.

In addition, the forum officially announced the holding of the international event “GEOMIN – 2026” in Tashkent on 14–18 September 2026.
