Seminar on the Requirements of the Law “On Conflict of Interest” Held at the University of Geological Sciences

The event was attended by responsible staff members of the university’s structural divisions.
During the seminar, Sh. Sagdullaev, Head of the Internal Anti-Corruption Control Department of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology, provided a detailed explanation of the concept and types of conflict of interest, as well as the restrictions established for employees of state organisations to prevent such conflicts. Particular attention was paid to the role of the Ethics Commission and the powers of state bodies in regulating relations related to conflicts of interest.
In addition, participants were presented with information on the procedure for disclosing information on conflicts of interest, reviewing notifications of existing conflicts of interest, submitting declarations of potential conflicts of interest, as well as the procedure for identifying conflicts of interest in the activities of state organisations.
At the end of the seminar, participants received answers to their questions.
