On 17 December of the current year, a seminar and training session was organised for heads of structural divisions and specialists of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology on the topic “The importance of implementing an anti-monopoly compliance system in state bodies and business entities.”
The seminar featured a presentation by T. Salimov, a responsible officer of the Committee for the Development of Competition and Consumer Protection. In his presentation, the Committee representative provided information on the identification, assessment and mitigation of financial and other risks in public procurement processes, measures to reduce corruption-related risks, as well as compliance with competition legislation and the liability arising from its violation.
In addition, during the event, the speaker provided comprehensive answers to participants’ questions regarding the implementation of the anti-monopoly compliance system.
