About Ministry
General Information
The Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry) is a state governing body responsible for implementing a unified policy in the field of employment and labor relations, and is accountable to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In its activities, the Ministry is guided by the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions of the chambers of the Oliy Majlis, decrees, resolutions and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers, as well as other regulatory legal acts.
Decisions of the Ministry, adopted within its powers, are mandatory for execution by all state and economic administration bodies, local executive authorities, other organizations, their officials, as well as citizens.
The Ministry, as well as its territorial and subordinate divisions, are legal entities, have seals with the State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan, independent balance sheets, treasury accounts, and bank accounts, including foreign accounts.
