“Orasta Ayol” — An Important Opportunity for Women to Gain a Profession, Start a Business, and Earn an Independent Income!
A press tour for media representatives, journalists, and bloggers was organized as part of the “Orasta Ayol” project, which aims to ensure women’s employment in Bukhara region and help them start their own businesses and earn a stable income.
Under this project, implemented on the initiative of the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction, 33 women were trained as hairdressers, 27 of whom received stipends. The 22 women who completed vocational training and started working were given the equipment needed for beauty salons.
In addition, lightweight-structure beauty salons were built for 7 women, and modern home salons were set up in the homes of 15 others.
Home salons offer women not only a profession but also the chance to run a business from their own homes, contribute to their family’s well-being, and achieve financial independence.
During the press tour, journalists got a closer look at the participants’ work, the results they are achieving, and their future plans.
