Open Dialogue with Entrepreneurs in Khorezm: President Congratulates Over 25,000 Participants on Entrepreneurs' Day

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is holding an open dialogue with entrepreneurs in Khorezm. For the first time, today's event is also being joined remotely by around 25,000 entrepreneurs from district-level studios.
The Head of State congratulated the country's 1.2 million-strong business community, which is making an active contribution to strengthening the nation's economic power, on Entrepreneurs' Day.
Since the tradition of open dialogue with entrepreneurs began five years ago, solutions have been found to thousands of issues that had hindered business. In this regard, 84 laws and 861 decrees and resolutions have been adopted.
"Why? So that, by creating conditions for our entrepreneurs, we can increase the number of new jobs and enable our people to earn a good income without having to travel far — right in their own neighborhood!" the President said.
Over the past period, the credit portfolio allocated to business has grown almost threefold, reaching 450 trillion soums. Entrepreneurs benefited from tax and customs privileges worth 650 trillion soums.
Many business representatives independently attracted 1 billion US dollars from foreign banks for their projects. The Head of State described this as yet another major achievement won by our entrepreneurs.
