Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The event was organized with the support of the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the Tourism Development Research Institute and Tashkent State Agrarian University in cooperation with the international scientific journal “Science and Innovation”. The conference was held within the framework of the implementation of Uzbekistan’s state policy on sustainable tourism development and the introduction of new tourism направления.

The conference brought together researchers, young scientists, doctoral students, representatives of higher educational institutions, the tourism industry, government authorities, museums, research institutes, the business community, and students specializing in tourism-related fields, as well as international experts from Türkiye, Italy, Jordan, China, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and other countries.

Participants discussed the development of geological, industrial, agricultural, astronomical, and archaeological tourism as tools for diversifying tourism products, ensuring sustainable regional development, and preserving natural, historical, and cultural heritage.

Special attention during the conference was devoted to practical aspects of applying modern approaches in the activities of tourism and hospitality businesses. The initiatives and scientific developments presented during the conference will provide representatives of the tourism business, hotel sector, agritourism complexes, excursion organizations, and startups with new tools for creating competitive tourism products, expanding the range of services, attracting foreign and domestic tourists, and increasing the investment attractiveness of the regions.

Practical case studies and international experience presented at the conference are expected to contribute to the implementation of innovative management models and the sustainable development of tourism destinations.
