Licensing
The Tourism Committee under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan has made changes to the procedure for obtaining a license for the right to carry out tourism activities.
In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-5409 dated April 11, 2018 “On measures to further reduce and simplify the licensing and permitting procedures in the field of entrepreneurial activity, as well as to improve the conditions for doing business” and the Resolution No. PQ-3662 dated April 11, 2018 “On additional measures to accelerate the development of the system of providing public services”, from June 1, 2018:
It was established that licensing of tourism activities will be carried out by territorial departments of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
It was determined that the submission of documents necessary for obtaining a license granting the right to carry out tourism activities will be carried out through State Service Centers or the Unified Interactive State Services Portal (UISP).

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-4861 dated December 2, 2016 "On measures to ensure the accelerated development of the tourism sector of the Republic of Uzbekistan", the State Committee for Tourism Development has developed a new regulation on the procedure for licensing tourism activities and submitted it to the Cabinet of Ministers in coordination with the relevant ministries and departments.
After the approval of this regulation, additional information will be posted on the official website of the Committee.
