On 8–9 October of this year, the University of Geological Sciences hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference on “Petroleum and Gas Potential of the Activated Areas of the Turan Platform and Its Mountainous Framing.”
The event was attended by scientists, specialists, and representatives of research organisations in the field of oil and gas.
The conference discussed modern scientific studies, advanced technologies, and innovative approaches in the fields of geology and oil and gas exploration.
For foreign scientists and specialists, an excursion to the State Geological Museum of Uzbekistan was also organised, where the guests familiarised themselves with the country’s rich geological history, natural resources, and contemporary scientific developments.
