Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The event was attended by responsible staff of the Executive Office of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology and representatives from more than 20 subordinate institutions. At the opening of the seminar, Adviser to the Minister M. Pirozhkov informed participants about the work being carried out within the Ministry in the field of combating corruption.

In addition, N. Samandarova, a responsible official of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, delivered a report on the reforms being implemented in our country in the sphere of combating corruption, the measures being taken, and international experience in preventing corruption.

In particular, the event discussed in detail the main tasks and the issues of improving the effectiveness of preventive measures defined at the meeting held on 5 March of this year under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sh. Mirziyoyev.

At the conclusion of the event, experts answered participants’ questions on topical issues.
